Indian Citizen
Must be citizen of India at time of application.
Graduate — Min 55%
Any discipline. University recognized by Govt. of India. Result declared on/before 01.04.2026. ⛔ Correspondence / Distance / Part-time courses NOT eligible. 54.99% = below cutoff — no rounding.
21 to 30 years
AGE (AS ON 01.04.2026) ; Born between 02.04.1996 and 01.04.2005 (both inclusive). Age relaxation as per GOI norms for reserved categories.
Computer literacy
Mandatory - Operating and working knowledge of computer systems is compulsory.
Work experience
Preferred, Not Mandatory - Fresh graduates eligible. Experience gives preference but is not required.

💡 GA section has special emphasis on Housing Finance Industry
NHB, PMAY, HFCs, mortgage basics, RBI housing policies. Prepare this section separately from standard banking GA.

🎯 Selection Process
Online Examination: 200 objective questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes. Sections: English, Reasoning, GA (Housing Finance), Numerical Ability, Computer Skill. Negative marking: −0.25 per wrong answer. Cut-offs applied both section-wise and on total score.
Interview: Top-ranked candidates shortlisted based on exam merit. Minimum qualifying marks required in interview. Interview centre = Vacancy State. Candidates not clearing minimum marks in interview are disqualified.
Final Merit List: Combined marks of Online Exam + Interview. Strictly merit-based. LIC HFL reserves right to change selection procedure if required.
Medical Examination: At candidate's own expense. By LIC HFL authorized medical examiner. Must be declared medically fit for final appointment.
Background Verification: Conducted for all selected candidates. Adverse findings can result in immediate termination without notice.

01. Open Official Portal
Go to ibpsreg.ibps.in/licjamar26/ or lichousing.com → Careers → Job Opportunities → Junior Assistant
02. New Registration
Click "New Registration". Enter Name, Mobile, Email. System generates Provisional Registration Number + Password (also sent by SMS/Email).
03. Fill Application Form
Login and fill all details carefully. Select your ONE Vacancy City and Examination State. Use SAVE AND NEXT to save progress.
04. Upload Documents
Upload photo, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per exact specifications (see below).
05. Pay Fee
₹800 + 18% GST = ₹944. Pay via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallet. Save E-Receipt.
06. Submit & Print
Preview → COMPLETE REGISTRATION → Submit. Take printout of application form. No changes allowed after final submission.

⚠️ Common Mistakes — Don't Get Rejected
Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS → instant rejection
Blurred or smudged thumb impression → application may be rejected
Name mismatch between application form and Photo ID
Applying for more than one Vacancy City
Mehndi or ink on fingers — biometric is captured on exam day
Multiple registrations — only latest valid one retained; previous fees forfeited
Handwritten declaration written by someone else or in any language other than English
Photo not uploaded at the photo field — will not be allowed to appear for exam
Waiting until last date — portal becomes slow, risk of submission failure
CGPA not converted to percentage — must show conversion certificate at interview

⚠️ LIC HFL has not released any official cut-off. The notification states cut-off is decided by the company after exam, based on vacancies. Anyone giving you exact cut-off numbers is guessing.

Bottom Line
Strong choice for banking/finance aspirants who want private-sector career in a reputed institution. Particularly worth it if you're applying to high-vacancy states (Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana). If you're targeting Central Govt. job security, this is a good parallel option — not a replacement.
