🎯 Preparation Strategy
✅ Do This
• Read NCERT Class 1–8 books — official source of all questions • Solve last 5 years UPTET PYQs (2013–2022) • Prepare CDP thoroughly — it's in both papers • Attempt all 150 questions — no negative marking • Focus on pedagogy sections — they're conceptual, not factual
❌ Avoid This
• Don't use advanced reference books for Paper 1 — it's Class 1–5 level • Don't skip EVS or Language sections thinking they're easy • Don't ignore CDP — every section has CDP-linked pedagogy • Don't leave questions blank — no penalty for wrong answers
💡 Smart Tips
• CDP + Pedagogy sections = 60 marks across Paper 1 — master this first • Both papers on same day (different shifts) — if eligible, attempt both • 2.5 hours = 150 Qs → 1 min per question. Practice speed • Paper 2: Section 4 has 60 marks — start preparation here
