🔄 How UPSSSC PET 2025 System Works

1. PET 2025 Score

   Your entry ticket. Score determines shortlisting for every mains exam.

2. Apply for Mains

   Login via PET Reg. No. + OTP at upsssc.gov.in. Fee ₹25 per application.

3. Shortlisting

   15× vacancies shortlisted from PET score (category-wise).

4. Mains Exam

   100 MCQs, 2 hrs, −0.25 negative. Merit = Mains marks only.

5. DV + Appointment

   Document verification → Final merit list → Appointment letter.

💡 Key insight: PET score only gets you to the shortlist — it does NOT add to final merit. Your Mains exam marks = 100% of final ranking. PET 2025 validity is one year from result date. Apply to as many drives as you're eligible for.

⚠️ Critical Instructions

• PET score expires 1 year from result— check your PET 2025 scorecard expiry before applying.

• For EACH drive, you must apply separately and pay ₹25 fee separately. One application ≠ all drives.

• OBC certificate must be issued on/after 01-04-2025. Older certificates rejected at DV stage.

• Female candidates from UP who are married: submit caste certificate from father's side only

• Can apply for multiple drives simultaneously if eligible. Strategy: apply for ALL matching qualifications.

• Lower PCS (2285 posts) is the biggest opportunity this cycle — start preparing now, opens May 29.

• UPPCB (115 posts) and Teacher Cadre JTC (58 posts) application windows are already closed.

• Lekhpal and VDO notifications expected in 2026 — monitor upsssc.gov.infor announcements.
