🎯 Selection Process

1. PET 2025 Score-based Shortlisting First Cut

   Candidates shortlisted for Main Written Exam on the basis of their normalized UPSSSC PET 2025 score. Candidates with zero or negative PET score are automatically excluded. Higher PET score = better shortlisting rank.
   

2. Main Written Examination ⭐ Merit Deciding Stage

   Written exam conducted by UPSSSC. Questions based on General Knowledge, Hindi, Reasoning, Maths, and Forest/Environment related topics. Exam date will be notified separately on upsssc.gov.in. Shortlisted candidates pay additional exam fee before downloading admit card.
   

3. Physical Standard Test (PST) + Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Qualifying

   Height and chest measurements verified against official standards. Physical run/walk test conducted. Both PST and PET are qualifying stages — marks not added to merit. Failing either = disqualification.
   

4. Document Verification + Medical Examination

   Original documents verified. Medical fitness check conducted. Final appointment order issued after clearing all stages.

⚠️ Critical Instructions

• PET 2025 is non-negotiable. Without a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard (positive normalized score), you cannot apply. No alternative accepted.

• Apply link activates on 30 June 2026 at upsssc.gov.in. The link is NOT live before that date. Applications before/after window = rejected.

• Correction window is only 27 July 2026. Use it to correct any form errors. No correction after this date.

• Main Exam admit card requires payment of a separate additional fee — this will be announced when shortlisting is done. Keep the payment info ready.

• Age is calculated from Class 10 (High School) certificate only— not Aadhaar, voter ID, or any other document.

• OBC has the highest vacancy share — 315 out of 708 posts. SC candidates also have strong representation (218 posts). Check your category carefully.

• Application fee is just ₹25 for all — effectively the lowest-cost UP govt application. Apply without hesitation if you meet eligibility.
