Before applying, confirm: (1) You have appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and have a valid score. (2) You hold the required PG degree / B.Sc CS / DOEACC 'A' Level for the post/domain you're applying for. (3) Your age was 21–40 as on 01 July 2026.
Download the Official Notification at upsssc.gov.in now. Identify the domain (Life Science / Physical Science / Chemistry / Computer Science) matching your qualification.
From 27 July 2026: Visit upsssc.gov.in, find the FSL Advt 15/2026 application. Log in with your UPSSSC PET 2025 registration. Fill in details and select the post and domain.
Pay the fee of ₹25 via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Deadline: 17 August 2026.
Submit and download confirmation. Correction window: up to 24 August 2026. Monitor upsssc.gov.in for the Written Exam date and admit card.

Yes — PG (Postgraduate/Master's) degree in Life Science, Physical Science, or Chemistry from a recognised university makes candidates eligible for the Scientific Assistant post in their respective domain. For the Computer Science domain of Scientific Assistant, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required (not PG). Preferences (PhD, experience, NCC 'B' Certificate) are merit advantages, not mandatory conditions.
What is DOEACC/NIELIT 'A' Level and is it eligible for UPSSSC FSL Lab Assistant?
DOEACC/NIELIT 'A' Level is a computer education certification equivalent to a Foundation-level computer course, offered by NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, formerly DOEACC). It is accepted as an eligibility qualification for the Computer Science domain of Lab Assistant posts only in this recruitment. Scientific Assistant posts do not list the 'A' Level as qualifying — those require a full Bachelor's degree in CS or PG in relevant science.
