UPSSSC has released Advertisement No. 06-Exam/2026 for 2,759 Agriculture Technical Assistant (AGTA) Group-C posts across Uttar Pradesh. Applications open till 11 June 2026 at upsssc.gov.in. UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard with positive normalized score is mandatory for all applicants. Minimum qualification is BSc Agriculture or equivalent. Age: 21–40 years as on 01 July 2026. 🎯 Selection Process — 5 Stages

1. PET 2025 Score-based Shortlisting First Cut

   Candidates shortlisted for Written Exam based on their UPSSSC PET 2025 normalized score. Higher PET score = better shortlisting rank. Zero/negative PET score = automatic exclusion at this stage.
   

2. Written Examination ⭐ Merit Deciding Stage

   Written exam conducted by UPSSSC. Questions from Agriculture, General Knowledge, and related topics. Exam date not yet announced — check upsssc.gov.in regularly after application window closes. Admit card released before exam.
   

3. Skill Test Qualifying

   Practical/skill-based test to assess agricultural technical competency. Specific standards and format to be announced with admit card/exam schedule.
   

4. Document Verification

   Education certificates (BSc Agriculture degree), age proof, PET 2025 scorecard, domicile, caste certificate, and other documents verified. Original documents must match uploaded copies.
   

5. Medical Examination

   Physical fitness and medical health assessment. Final appointment after passing medical examination.

⚠️ Critical Instructions

• PET 2025 is non-negotiable. Without a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard with positive normalized score, you cannot apply. This cannot be bypassed under any circumstance.

• Correction window is till 18 June 2026 only. Use this window to correct any errors in your application. No corrections after 18 June.

• Apply only at upsssc.gov.in→ Advt. No. 06-Exam/2026. Single application per candidate — multiple applications lead to rejection.

• Exam date not yet announced — it will be notified on upsssc.gov.in and your registered email after application window closes.

• Application fee is just ₹25 for all categories including General/OBC. One of the most affordable UP govt applications available.

• UR has 1,692 of 2,759 posts (61%) — even general category students have strong odds in this recruitment given large pool.
