  1. Confirm you have qualified the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026 by checking the Name-wise Result (declared 17 June 2026).

  2. Visit upsc.gov.in and use the Apply Online (Mains Form) or Apply Online (OTR) link in the Important Links section below.

  3. Log in using your One Time Registration (OTR) credentials created during the Prelims stage.

  4. Fill in the Mains-specific details, including optional subject choice and any other fields required in the Mains Application Notice.

  5. Review all entries carefully, submit, and save a printout of the confirmation page before 29 June 2026 (Mains IAS) and 22 July (IFS).

⚠ Important Instructions

  • The IAS Mains Online Form is open only from 19 to 29 June 2026 and IFS Mains Online Form is open only from 13 to 22 July 2026— there is no indication of an extension in the current notification.

  • This form is relevant only for candidates who cleared the Prelims exam— check the Name-wise Result before attempting to access the Mains form.
