🎯 Selection Process — No Exam

1. Merit List Preparation ⭐ Most Important Stage

   District authorities prepare merit list based on academic marks — 10th percentage + 12th percentage + Graduation (if any) + PG (if any). The higher your combined academic score, the higher your rank. This is the only deciding factor.

2. Preference Allocation Built into Merit

   First preference: BPL widow/divorced women of same Gram Panchayat. Second preference: Other eligible women of same Gram Panchayat. Third preference: Women from same Nyaya Panchayat (if no eligible local candidate).

3. Document Verification Qualifying

   Shortlisted candidates called to district office. Originals verified: 10th/12th marksheets, Aadhaar, domicile/residence proof, category certificate, income certificate (for BPL preference). Must attend in person.

4. Final Selection List

   Published on upanganwadibharti.in and district-level notice boards. Track your district's portal regularly after applying.

⚠️ Important: This is a contractual/honorarium position — not a permanent government job. No pension, no fixed salary increment cycle. If you are expecting the benefits of a permanent state government post, this is not that.

👶 Child Nutrition

Supplementary nutrition for children under 6 years. Monitor growth and weight.

📚 Pre-School Education

Non-formal education for children aged 3–6 years at the Anganwadi centre.

💉 Health & Immunization

Assist in health check-ups and immunization programs for children and pregnant women.

🤱 Maternal Guidance

Educate pregnant and nursing mothers on nutrition, hygiene, and child care.
