SSC has released the Online Post Preference Form for Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025. Tier-I and Tier-II exams are both completed. Fill the Post Preference Form from 10 to 14 June 2026 (till 11:59 PM). This is your final chance to indicate department and trade preferences for the 1,731 posts.

Go to the Important Links section below and click the Online Post Preference Form (Through Login) link, or visit ssc.gov.in directly.
Log in using your Registration Number and Date of Birth. Enter the captcha if prompted.
The Post Preference Form will appear. Carefully read the list of departments, posts, and trades available to you based on your eligibility and trade.
Arrange the departments/posts in order of your preference (most preferred to least preferred). Take your time — this order directly impacts your department allocation in the merit list.
Review your selection carefully before submitting. Once submitted and the deadline passes, no changes will be possible.
Take a printout or screenshot of your submitted preference for future reference.

Can female candidates choose BRO posts in the Post Preference Form?
No. Border Roads Organization (BRO) posts are for Male candidates only. Female candidates must not include BRO in their post preference list.
What is the total vacancy in SSC JE Recruitment 2025?
A total of 1,731 posts across departments — BRO (959), CPWD (304), MES (338), CWC (100), and others including DGQA-Naval, Farakka Barrage Project, and Central Water Power Research Station.
What comes after the Post Preference Form?
After the Post Preference Form deadline, SSC will release the Tier-II Result, followed by Document Verification and finally the Final Merit List with department-wise allocation based on merit and stated preferences.
