Age Relaxation
SC/ST +5 years · OBC (NCL) +3 years · Ex-Servicemen as per rules · Departmental candidates up to 40 (UR), 43 (OBC), 45 (SC/ST). Age calculated as on 20 April 2026.
🎯 Selection Process
PET + PST Qualifying
PET (Race): Males: 1.6 km in 6 min 30 sec · Females: 800m in 4 min 45 sec (standards may vary by post). PST (Physical): Height, chest (male only), weight checked. Male General: 165–170 cm, Chest 77–82 cm +5 cm. Female: 155–160 cm. PET/PST are qualifying only — no marks counted.Written Examination (CBT) Merit Basis
100–150 MCQs · Objective · 2 Hours. Sections: General Knowledge / Current Affairs · Reasoning · Numerical Ability · English/Hindi. Final merit is based on written exam marks. Negative marking may apply — confirm from official notification.Skill / Trade Test Qualifying (post-specific)
HC (Electrician): Electrical skill test required. Driver: Driving test. Other trades: practical trade demonstration. Not applicable for all posts.Document Verification + Medical Qualifying
Original certificates verified. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) by SSB medical board. Candidates found unfit can opt for Review Medical Exam (RME) on the same day.
