South East Central Railway (SECR), Bilaspur Division has released the Act Apprentice Notification 2026-27 (Notification No. P/Bilaspur/Recruitment/Act Apprentice/2026-27/E-176508) for 1,191 vacancies across 19 trades under the Apprentices Act 1961. Applications are open from 12 May to 11 June 2026 at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Selection is purely merit-based on average of 10th and ITI marks — no written exam, no fee. ℹ️ This is Apprenticeship Training — NOT a permanent railway job. Selected candidates undergo 1-year training and receive a monthly stipend as per Government of Chhattisgarh rules. Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment in railways. However, the ITI + Apprenticeship certificate strengthens eligibility for future Railway RRB recruitment.

   Medical fitness check by Govt Surgeon. Must meet basic physical health standards for apprenticeship training.

• Only 10th + ITI marks on portal. Do NOT enter Diploma, Degree, or any higher qualification. This causes automatic rejection — no appeal accepted.

• This is a 1-year training apprenticeship — not a permanent railway job. No employment guarantee after training completion.

• Upload caste certificate (if SC/ST/OBC) — must be recent and issued by competent authority. Old certificates may be rejected at DV.

• Merit is purely based on marks. No extra credit for higher qualifications. A 10th + ITI candidate with 90% beats a Diploma holder with 70%.

• COPA has 350 vacancies — highest among all 19 trades. If you have COPA trade ITI, this is your strongest bet.
