⚠️ 2 Years Relevant Experience Mandatory for Inspector of Factories & Boilers post. Candidates must have minimum 2 years experience as technical personnel in design, construction, erection, operation, testing, repair, maintenance or inspection of boilers, OR in implementation of Boilers Act 1923. Inspector of Factories (Chemical) post does not require prior experience.

• Inspector of Factories (Chemical): BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from any recognized university OR equivalent qualification declared by Government

• Age between 23 and 40 years as on 01 January 2027

• Working knowledge of Hindi (Devnagri script) and knowledge of Rajasthani culture required

• No relevant engineering degree → Not eligible for either post

🎯 Selection Process

1. Written Examination (CBRT) ⭐ Most Critical — 150 Marks

   Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) — Objective type. 150 marks. Technical knowledge assessment based on engineering discipline. Questions from relevant core engineering subjects + Factories Act / Boilers Act / Industrial Safety. Commission may apply scaling, moderation, or normalization in evaluating answer sheets. Exam: 20 September 2026.
   

2. Qualification / Experience Evaluation As Required

   Academic qualifications and marks evaluation as specified by RPSC. Experience certificate verification for Inspector of Factories & Boilers post.
   

3. Interview / Personal Interview If Required — 40% Weightage

   Interview conducted if RPSC decides it is necessary. When conducted, interview carries significant 40% weightage in overall selection. Document Verification + Medical Examination before final appointment.

⚠️ Important Instructions for Applied Candidates

• 2 years boiler experience is verified at DV stage. Experience certificate must be from recognized establishment. Mismatch or forged certificates = cancellation + legal action.

• Exam is CBRT (Computer Based) on 20 September 2026. Admit card will be released before the exam on rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in — check regularly after August 2026.

• Admit card requires Registration Number and DOB/Password for download. Check on official site: rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in

• This is a Rajasthan State Gazetted post. Working knowledge of Hindi (Devnagri) and Rajasthani culture will also be assessed at interview stage.

• Only 13 total vacancies — competition is highly specialized. Only Engineering graduates with relevant experience pool makes for manageable competition if you are experienced.

• Chemical post (1 vacancy) is General/UR only — BE Chemical candidates have a focused single vacancy to target with no competition from reserved categories.
