State Eligibility Test (SET) — Teaching Eligibility for Rajasthan Colleges

The Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (SET) is conducted by the University of Kota (UOK) on behalf of the state government. SET is the eligibility certificate required to become an Assistant Professor in Rajasthan's state-funded colleges and universities. It is equivalent to UGC NET for Rajasthan-specific teaching posts. Candidates who qualify SET are eligible to apply for Rajasthan assistant professor vacancies. This is not a direct job — it is an eligibility test.

1. Visit uok.ac.in and navigate to the SET 2026 / Online Application section. The Apply Online link activates on 14 June 2026.

2. Register on the portal and create your login. Verify your email and mobile number.

3. Check your eligibility — Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for OBC NCL/SC/ST/PH) in the subject you wish to appear for.

4. Fill the application form with accurate personal, educational, and subject details. Upload scanned photo and signature.

5. Pay the fee — ₹600 (General/Out-of-State) or ₹400 (EWS/OBC NCL/SC/ST/PH) — online before 15 July 2026.

6. Review the form preview, submit, and take a printout of the final submitted application for your records.

⚠ Important Instructions

• The Apply Online link at uok.ac.in will activate on 14 June 2026— check the portal from that date.

• Last date for application and fee is 15 July 2026. Do not wait for the last day.

• OBC Creamy Layer candidates and Out-of-State candidates pay ₹600 (General category fee), not the concessional ₹400.

• 55% in Master's is mandatory for General — 54.9% does not qualify. OBC NCL/SC/ST/PH candidates need 50%.

• SET qualification is the eligibility certificate — it does not guarantee a job. You must separately apply for RPSC or other Rajasthan teaching posts after qualifying.

• Read the official notification carefully for subject-wise eligibility and exam pattern before applying.
