Download it now, verify your ITI trade is in the eligible list, and check which division you want to apply for. Application window is 31 days (20 July – 19 August) — but the merit is based on 10th + ITI marks you've already earned.

🏆 No written examination — selection is purely by merit on 10th + ITI marks. Railway NFR Apprentice selection shortlists candidates based on the aggregate of 10th board marks and ITI marks. The higher your marks, the better your chances. Prepare your original certificates. After shortlisting, Document Verification follows.

📋 This is an Apprenticeship under NAPS / Apprentices Act — not a permanent railway job. NAPS = National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme. NFR Trade Apprentice is a structured on-the-job training programme under the Apprentices Act. On completion, you receive an Apprenticeship certificate — it does not automatically convert to a permanent job. It is, however, a valuable qualification that improves your employability in railway and technical sectors.

✍ How to Apply Online

• Before 20 July: Download and read the full notification from nfr.indianrailways.gov.in. Verify your ITI trade is listed as eligible. Check which division you want to apply for and how many posts are available there.

• Visit nfr.indianrailways.gov.in from 20 July 2026. Find the Apprentice Recruitment 2026 / NFR/NAPS/ACT APP./2026 apply link and click it.

• Register with your mobile number and email. Fill in personal details, 10th board marks (percentage), ITI trade and marks, category, and preferred division. Enter details accurately — merit is calculated from marks you enter, which will be verified at Document Verification.

• Upload photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Pay the fee: ₹100 for General/OBC. SC/ST and all female candidates pay zero. Fee deadline: 19 August 2026.

• Submit and download the confirmation receipt. Last date: 19 August 2026. Monitor nfr.indianrailways.gov.in for merit list and document verification schedule.
