What qualification is required for MPPSC Scientific Officer Biology?
You need: M.Sc. in Second Division in any of — Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Forensic Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioscience, Life Science, or Forensic Science. Additionally, your graduation (B.Sc.) must include Biology/Botany/Zoology/Life Science as a main subject. Both conditions are mandatory.
What is the salary of MPPSC Scientific Officer Biology?
Selected candidates receive ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500/month (Pay Level 12, 7th CPC). The annual package is approximately ₹6.73 – ₹21.30 Lakhs plus Dearness Allowance, Housing Accommodation, and Medical Facilities. This is a Gazetted Class II post with a 2-year probation period.
What is the selection process for MPPSC Scientific Officer Biology 2026?
Selection has two stages: (1) Written Exam — Objective type, OMR-based, with negative marking. Exam centres are Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior. Scheduled for 22 November 2026. (2) Interview — 100 marks. Minimum qualifying: 41 marks (UR), 31 marks (reserved). Note: If total applicants are below 500, only an interview may be conducted.
