The Indian Navy has released the Reserve List / Result for INCET 01/2024 on 23 May 2026. This recruitment was for 741 civilian posts including Fireman, Tradesman Mate, Chargeman, Scientific Assistant, Cook, MTS (Ministerial), and others. The written examination was held from 27–29 November 2024. Multiple PDFs are available — Revised Provisional Select List (Chargeman Factory), Reserve List for Cook & MTS (Ministerial), Fireman & Driver Result, and General Result. Login at joinindiannavy.gov.in using your Roll Number + Date of Birth + Question Booklet Number.

STAGE 01

• Written Exam (CBT)

• Computer Based Test — for all posts. MCQ format. Merit-based shortlisting for next stage.

STAGE 02 ⚠️

• Physical Test

• Only for Fireman & Fire Engine Driver posts. Not applicable for other posts.

STAGE 03

• Document Verification

• Original certificate verification — education, category, experience, identity. Date TBA.

STAGE 04

• Medical Examination

• As per Indian Navy medical fitness standards. Final fitness clearance post-DV.

📌 Physical Test: Physical Fitness Test is only for Fireman and Fire Engine Driver posts. All other posts go directly from CBT to Document Verification.

• Trade certificate / licence— Fire Fighting Course (Fireman), HMV Driving Licence (Fire Engine Driver)

• Category certificate— SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS (if claiming reservation)

• PwBD / Ex-Servicemen certificate(if applicable)

• Printed admit card(Hall Ticket from INCET 01/2024 exam)

🩺 Physical & Medical Standards

⚠️ Physical Test: Applies ONLY to Fireman and Fire Engine Driver posts. All other 9 post categories are exempt from the physical test stage.

• Fireman: Physical efficiency test — running, physical fitness assessment as per Indian Navy / MHA fire service standards

• Fire Engine Driver: Physical fitness test + valid HMV driving licence verification

• All posts — Medical Examination:As per Indian Navy civilian medical fitness norms. Vision, hearing, general health parameters assessed at Medical stage (post-DV)

• Candidates found medically unfit will not be considered for final appointment even after DV clearance

📋 How to Download Reserve List / Result

1. Visit Official Portal

   Go to joinindiannavy.gov.in → Look for "INCET 01/2024 Reserve List / Result" in the recruitment/notifications section.
   

2. Select Your Post-specific PDF

   Multiple PDFs available. Choose the correct one: Revised Provisional Select List (Chargeman Factory) · Reserve List — Cook & MTS Ministerial · Fireman & Fire Engine Driver Result · General Result (all other posts).
   

3. Login with Credentials

   Enter Roll Number + Date of Birth + Question Booklet Number → Click Submit to access your result.
   

4. Check Your Result Status

   Verify whether your name / roll number appears in the Select List or Reserve List. Note your rank and status carefully.
   

5. Download & Save

   Download the result PDF. Save a copy digitally and take a printout — required for DV and Medical stages.

⚠️ Important Instructions

• Multiple PDFs released: Check the correct PDF for your post — Chargeman (Factory) has a Revised Provisional Select List, Cook & MTS have a separate Reserve List, Fireman/Driver have their own PDF.

• Reserve List candidates: Being on the Reserve List means you are shortlisted as a substitute. You may be called if a select-listed candidate drops out or fails medical/DV. Monitor joinindiannavy.gov.in for DV notices.

• DV date not yet announced: Document Verification schedule will be published at joinindiannavy.gov.in. Keep all original certificates ready.

• Physical Test (Fireman & FED only): If not cleared yet, Physical Test will precede DV for these posts. Train accordingly.

• Do not pay anyone: Indian Navy never charges money for DV, joining, or posting. All fraud demands must be reported to Indian Navy authorities.

• Keep a printout: Download and print both the result PDF and your Admit Card. Both will be needed at DV stage.
