Written Examination ⭐ 11 June 2026 · Merit Stage
150 objective MCQ questions · 2 hours 15 minutes · Offline/OMR mode. Subjects: General Studies + General Science & Mathematics + Mental Ability (50 questions each). Negative marking: −1 per wrong answer. Minimum 40% required to qualify for Skill Test. Top 5× category-wise vacancies shortlisted for Skill Test.
Skill Test — Shorthand + Typing Qualifying
Shorthand speed: 80 WPM (Hindi and English both). Typing speed: 30 WPM. Skill Test is qualifying only — marks not counted in final merit. Failing = eliminated. Dates announced after written exam result.
Document Verification
Original education certificates, age proof, category certificate verified. Any discrepancy = disqualification.
Medical Examination
Basic physical fitness assessed. Final appointment after medical clearance.

Negative marking is −1 per wrong answer. Do not guess randomly. With only 150 questions, every wrong answer significantly impacts score.
Minimum 40% in written exam is mandatory to be eligible for Skill Test. Below 40% = eliminated regardless of category.
Top 5× vacancies category-wise shortlisted for Skill Test from written merit. Only about 75 candidates (5×15) get the Skill Test call.
Skill Test is qualifying only — passing it is mandatory but its marks don't add to final merit. Written exam rank determines appointment order.
Both Hindi and English shorthand required at 80 WPM. Start daily shorthand practice — this is the eliminating stage for most candidates.
