🎯 Selection Process

1. Written Examination (OMR-based) ⭐ Merit Deciding — 100 Marks

   OMR sheet-based objective MCQ test. 100 questions · 100 marks · 2 hours. Subjects: Food Science / Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Technology + Food Safety regulations + General knowledge. Negative marking: −0.25 per wrong answer. Normalization applied for multi-shift exams. Exam date to be announced on btsc.bihar.gov.in.
   

2. Document Verification Qualifying

   Degree certificates, FSSAI Food Analyst Exam pass certificate, experience certificates (if Bachelor's route), age proof, caste/EWS certificates, Bihar domicile verified. Any discrepancy = disqualification.

⚠️ Critical Instructions

• FSSAI exam certificate is a hard eligibility condition. No FSSAI Food Analyst pass certificate = application rejected at Document Verification. This cannot be compensated by any other qualification.

• Only 10 total posts.Some sources incorrectly say 88 or 11. Official BTSC notification (Advt. 24/2026) confirms 10 posts. Verify at btsc.bihar.gov.in before applying.

• Apply only at btsc.bihar.gov.in. Use your own mobile number and email — only one application per mobile number allowed.

• Bachelor's degree route requires exactly 3 years of food analysis experience. Experience certificate from authorized employer must be submitted at DV.

• Fee is just ₹100 for all categories. With only 10 posts, competition is extremely specialized — only qualified food scientists with FSSAI certification can apply.

• EBC has the highest share with 3 out of 10 posts. SC and BC get 2 each. UR only gets 2 posts — reservation plays a big role in this small recruitment.
