The Allahabad High Court has announced the HJS Mains Written Exam 2026 (UP Higher Judicial Service 2023) for 83 District Judge / Higher Judicial Service posts. Mains exam scheduled on 1–2 August 2026 (Saturday–Sunday). Eligibility: LLB + minimum 7 years' continuous practice as Advocate, age 35–45 years (as on 01 January 2024). Prelims was held on 20 July 2025; result declared 18 December 2025 (60% cutoff for UR, 45% for reserved). Admit card will be released at allahabadhighcourt.in before the exam.

Based on combined Mains + Interview performance. Appointment as District Judge / HJS in Uttar Pradesh.
