The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially declared the result for the Agriculture Officer (AO) Written Competitive Examination 2024 on 29 April 2026. This result covers all posts notified under Advertisement No. 17/2024-25, which included multiple agriculture sector positions such as Agriculture Officer, Assistant Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Research Officer, and Statistical Officer under the Rajasthan Agriculture Department.

The written examination was conducted in offline (OMR-based) mode from 12 to 29 October 2025 at various examination centers across Rajasthan. The result has been released approximately six months after the exam was conducted, which is consistent with RPSC's standard result timelines for departmental competitive exams.

RPSC has released two separate PDF documents along with this result — the Main List containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates, and the Reserve List which serves as a waiting list activated only if Main List candidates fail to appear or qualify during the Document Verification (DV) stage. Along with both lists, RPSC has also published the category-wise cutoff marks that determined qualification thresholds for each reservation category (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc.).

Candidates who find their roll number in the Main List PDF will be called for the Document Verification (DV) stage, which is the next and final step in the selection process. The DV schedule will be announced separately by RPSC on its official website. Candidates in the Reserve List will only be called if vacancies arise due to non-joining or disqualification of Main List candidates.

To check your result, you need only your Roll Number — simply open the PDF from the official RPSC results page, press Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on Mac), and search your roll number. If it appears, you are shortlisted. There is no individual scorecard released at this stage — the result is in the form of a merit/shortlist PDF only. Individual marks may be released later or can be accessed through RTI.

The total recruitment under Advt. 17/2024-25 was for 241 posts across various Agriculture Department sub-cadres. The competition was intense given Rajasthan's large pool of agriculture graduates and the limited number of government positions available. Candidates who qualify and complete the DV process successfully will be recommended for appointment to their respective posts in the Agriculture Department, Government of Rajasthan.

2. Find Agriculture Officer Result Link

   Look for: "Result Preamble and Cutoff Marks for Agriculture Officer 2024" — Main List and Reserve List will be listed separately. Click the relevant PDF link.
   

3. Open the PDF

   The PDF will open in your browser or download automatically. It contains a list of shortlisted roll numbers and category-wise cutoff marks.
   

4. Search Your Roll Number

   Press Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmd+F (Mac) to open the search box. Type your roll number exactly as it appears on your admit card.
   

5. Confirm Your Status

   Found in Main List → Shortlisted for DV. Start preparing original documents.
   Found in Reserve List → Waitlisted. You may be called if Main List candidates don't appear.
   Not found → Not shortlisted in this cycle.

• B.Sc. (Agriculture) or relevant degree certificate + marksheets (Original + 2 copies)

• Caste/Category Certificate — SC/ST/OBC/EWS (if applicable) — must be from competent authority

• Date of Birth proof (10th certificate/Aadhaar)

• Aadhaar Card + 2 passport size photographs

• Absence from DV = cancellation of candidature. No second chance once DV date is assigned.

⚠️ Important Instructions

• Provisional Result— subject to court orders and eligibility verification. Final appointment is confirmed only after DV clearance.

• Reserve List candidates are NOT automatically called — they are called only if Main List seats fall vacant during DV.

• Revaluation / re-checking of answer sheets is not available under RPSC rules for written competitive exams.

• Result PDFs may have candidates listed as "provisional" — their selection is pending eligibility verification at the DV stage.
