π About This Result
JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main 2026 Session 2 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in April 2026. This is the second session of JEE Main 2026. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) was held from 2nd to 8th April 2026 (shifts on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8). Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) was conducted on 7th April 2026.
JEE Main is the gateway exam for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and other centrally funded technical institutions. It also serves as the eligibility test for JEE Advanced β the entrance exam for IITs. The top 2.5 lakh students (approximately) who clear the JEE Main cut-off are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2026.
The scorecard for Session 2 includes NTA Score (percentile), All India Rank (AIR), subject-wise percentile scores, and the JEE Advanced 2026 qualifying cut-off. For candidates who appeared in both Session 1 and Session 2, the best of the two scores is considered for the final merit list and JEE Advanced eligibility. Admission to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs will be through JoSAA counselling based on the final JEE Main merit list.

Open jeemain.nta.ac.in. Look for the "JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Result" or "Scorecard" link on the homepage.
Click the Result / Scorecard link
Click the correct link for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) or Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) depending on which paper you appeared for. Both results are now declared.
Enter Application Number + Password / DOB
Enter your JEE Main Application Number and Password (set during registration) or Date of Birth (DD-MM-YYYY). Enter captcha if shown.
Click Submit and view scorecard
Your scorecard will display NTA Score (percentile), All India Rank (AIR), subject-wise percentile scores, and JEE Advanced qualifying status.

For candidates who appeared in both Session 1 and Session 2, the best of the two NTA scores is used for the final merit list and JEE Advanced qualification.
Scorecard shows whether you qualify for JEE Advanced 2026. Only top ~2.5 lakh candidates (based on Paper 1 merit) qualify. Check scorecard carefully.
Qualified for JEE Advanced? Register immediately at jeeadv.ac.in when registration opens. Missing JEE Advanced registration means losing IIT opportunity.
NIT/IIIT/CFTI admissions will be through JoSAA Counsellingβ register at josaa.nic.in when it opens. Both sessions' best score is used.

What is the difference between NTA Score and Marks in JEE Main?
NTA Score is a normalized percentile score (0 to 100) β it represents the percentage of candidates who scored equal to or below you. It is NOT the raw marks. Marks is the actual score out of the maximum. JEE Advanced qualification and JoSAA counselling use the NTA Score (percentile), not raw marks.
If I appeared in both Session 1 and Session 2, which score is used?
For candidates who appeared in both JEE Main 2026 Session 1 and Session 2, the better of the two NTA scores is considered for the final merit list and JEE Advanced 2026 eligibility. Check your scorecard for the combined/best score.
How to qualify for JEE Advanced 2026 through JEE Main?
Approximately the top 2.5 lakh candidates from JEE Main Paper 1 (B.Tech) β category-wise β qualify for JEE Advanced. The qualifying cut-off NTA Score will be mentioned in your scorecard. If qualified, register for JEE Advanced 2026 at jeeadv.ac.in when registration opens. Only JEE Main Paper 1 (B.Tech) qualifies for JEE Advanced β Paper 2 does not.
