📝 About HPSC HCS Recruitment 2026

The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has officially declared the Pre Result for HCS (Executive Branch) & Other Allied Services Preliminary Examination 2025 on 04 May 2026. The Prelims examination was conducted on 26 April 2026 and the result was released within 8 days — a quick turnaround. This result shortlists candidates for the Mains examination scheduled on 27–29 June 2026.

This recruitment is for 102 HCS and Allied Service posts across the Haryana government, distributed as: General — 46, EWS — 11, SC — 19, BCA — 15, BCB — 11. Applications were accepted from 30 January to 06 February 2026 under Advertisement No. 22/2026. The educational qualification is a Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized university — making this an excellent opportunity for graduates targeting Haryana state civil services.

The HPSC HCS exam is Haryana's premier civil services examination — equivalent to other state PCS exams. It selects candidates for the Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch) — sub-divisional officers, block development officers — and other allied services across various state departments. The process involves Prelims → Mains → Interview → Document Verification → Medical, similar to UPSC and other state PCS exams.

The Pre result is a roll number-wise qualifying PDF list available at hpsc.gov.in → Results. Candidates simply need to search their roll number (Ctrl+F) in the downloaded PDF. Qualified candidates must start Mains preparation immediately — they have approximately 7–8 weeks before the Mains exam on 27–29 June 2026. The Mains tests General Studies at a deeper level with descriptive/essay papers.
