About Indian Navy Agniveer SSR MA 2026

The Indian Navy has officially released the admit card for the Agniveer SSR (Medical Assistant) Written Examination 2026 — 02/2027 Batch on 30 April 2026. The written exam is scheduled to be held on 16 May 2026 across exam centers all over India. Candidates who had applied between 14 March 2026 and 09 April 2026 can now download their hall ticket from the official Navy recruitment portal at sailornavy.cdac.in/ssrmedcycle1/ or agniveernavy.cdac.in.

The Agniveer SSR Medical Assistant post is part of the Agnipath scheme — a short-term service model for Indian Armed Forces. Selected Agniveers serve for 4 years, after which 25% are retained in permanent service based on performance. The role of SSR Medical Assistant involves supporting medical operations aboard ships and at Navy medical establishments across India.

Eligibility for this batch: Candidates must have passed their 12th (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB)from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in each subject. English must be one of the subjects. Age eligibility: born between 01 May 2003 and 31 October 2008 for the 02/2027 batch. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

The selection process has multiple stages: Written Exam → Physical Fitness Test → Medical Examination → Document Verification → Final Merit List. The written examination comes first — only those who clear it proceed to physical tests. Physical standards include a 1.6 km run in 7 minutes, 20 squat-ups, 10 push-ups, and 10 sit-ups. Vision requirement is 6/6 uncorrected (6/9 in the worse eye) with colour perception pass.

To download the admit card, candidates need their Registration Number and Password set during the original application. These were sent to the registered email/mobile. The download is available on two portals — use the alternate if the primary is slow during peak hours. Once downloaded, print on A4 size and affix a recent passport-size photograph. Carry 2 printed copies + original Aadhaar card + 2 passport photos to the exam center. Report 1 hour before the exam start time — no late entry is permitted.

ResultDekho's note: The exam is 15 days away — download your admit card today without delay. Verify your exam center address on Google Maps and plan your travel the day before. The written exam is the first and most important filter — 15 days is enough for solid revision of PCB subjects and general science/reasoning. All the best!
