About Indian Navy Agniveer SSR MA 2026

The Indian Navy has officially released the admit card for the Agniveer SSR (Medical Assistant) Written Examination 2026 — 02/2027 Batch on 30 April 2026. The written exam is scheduled to be held on 16 May 2026 across exam centers all over India. The Agniveer SSR Medical Assistant post is part of the Agnipath scheme — a short-term service model for Indian Armed Forces. Selected Agniveers serve for 4 years, after which 25% are retained in permanent service based on performance. The role of SSR Medical Assistant involves supporting medical operations aboard ships and at Navy medical establishments across India.

Eligibility for this batch: Candidates must have passed their 12th (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB)from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in each subject. English must be one of the subjects. Age eligibility: born between 01 May 2003 and 31 October 2008 for the 02/2027 batch. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

The selection process has multiple stages: Written Exam → Physical Fitness Test → Medical Examination → Document Verification → Final Merit List. The written examination comes first — only those who clear it proceed to physical tests.
